The LG Twins extended their winning streak to five games with a victory over their ‘Jamsil rivals’, the Doosan Bears.

LG won 7-4 at home against Doosan in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on 16 November.

With the win, LG improved to 38-2 on the season and maintained a half-game lead over second-place SSG Landers, who defeated the Lotte Giants on the same day.

LG starter Lee Min-ho did his job with five innings of two-run ball, while Go Woo-seok, who came on in the ninth inning with a three-run lead, pitched one scoreless inning to close out the game.

After the game, LG coach Yeom Kyung-yeop said, “Lee Min-ho did his job as a starter, and Park Myung-geun, Yoo Young-chan, Ham Deok-ju, and Go Woo-seok did a good job of keeping us out of difficult situations, so we were able to win. Congratulations to Yoo Young-chan for his four wins.”

At the plate, Kim Min-seong led the way with a three-hit game, including the game-winning hit. Moon Bo-kyung also chipped in with a multi-hit double, while Oh Ji-hwan sparked the offence with three RBIs.
