Lim Jae-hyun “I lost to DK…but I won’t be intimidated”

T1 acting head coach Lim “Jae-hyun” Jae-hyun attributed the two-set loss to the early design of D-Plus Kia.

T1 lost 0-2 to DePlus Kia in the sixth week of the regular season of the 2023 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Summer League at the LCK Arena in Jongno-gu, Seoul on Saturday. With the loss, the team dropped to 7-5 (+3) and remained in fourth place.

“We lost both sets,” said Lim in the post-match press conference. “In the second set, the opponent’s snowballs were rolling a lot in the beginning. I’m glad that the players didn’t give up and kept playing despite the tough conditions.”

Lim added, “In the first set, I didn’t realize that my opponent was playing at a strong time. That played a big role in our defeat. In the second game, my opponent’s jungler and support did a good job of designing well. We lost because we were outclassed in those areas,” he said.

Regarding the timing of ‘Faker’ Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyuk’s return, he said, “Right now, he’s not playing solo and is focusing on his treatment. The team will announce (his return) if they think he can play after practicing and checking his wrist health.”

“We lost 0-2 today, but I think the team is improving,” Lim said. “We won’t be embarrassed by today’s loss,” he said, adding, “We’ll try to make it to the playoffs 메이저놀이터.”
