‘Man Utd winger battles manager and leaves’ New destination? ‘Barcelona are eyeing up’

Is there hope for Manchester United’s out-of-favour winger?

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona are eyeing a loan move for Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window.

Sancho is a player that United have been heavily pursuing. They have been persistent in their pursuit of the player, despite frequent failures.

After an aggressive pursuit, the Red Devils finalized the signing of Jadon Sancho in July 2021. The transfer fee was a whopping £120 million.

Expectations were high for Sancho. However, he had his head down. He struggled to settle in at United, and his sub-par performances earned him the dubious distinction of being called a cheat.

Sancho’s time at United hasn’t gone well this season either. He has only appeared in three games as a substitute. In the 76th minute, he got into a verbal altercation with manager Eric ten Hagh, leading to a protest.

Sancho was recently left out of the squad for the game against Arsenal, with the manager explaining, “I watched him in training and decided to leave him out of the game against Arsenal”.

“He has to show the right level for United. The manager has the right to choose the players. Sancho was not the final choice,” adding that his performance in training was below expectations.

Sancho was furious and went on a social media rampage, tweeting, “Don’t believe what you’re reading. It’s completely false. I’ve been working hard in training all week,” he wrote.

“I am a scapegoat. I have been treated unfairly for a long time because of this.”

Van Gaal is said to be in a forgiving mood and has held talks with Sancho, but has been unable to resolve their differences.

The club’s chairman and chief executive tried to resolve the situation, but it wasn’t easy. 스포츠토토

“Jadon Sancho will remain out of the first team until the disciplinary issues are resolved. He will continue to train privately.”

Former United player Gordon Strachan said, “What I would say to the players is, ‘Look after yourself. Look after yourself before anyone else. It’s simple. Look at your performance and evaluate if it’s good,” he said, taking a shot at Sancho.

“The manager of United is Sir Alex Ferguson, and Sancho does this? He’s out, because no player is bigger than the team,” said former United player Dimitar Berbatov.

Man Utd boss Van Gaal seems to have erased Sancho from his plans. There’s no place for him.

“Sancho is not an important player for United at the moment. He can’t contribute to the team. I don’t know if he can play again. I prepare as best I can and give all the effort to the players who are available,” he said in a bombshell statement.

Sancho has been training privately after being completely ignored by United, and Barcelona have been linked with a January signing.
